After 40 years of lantern-lit strolls through Stone Mountain Park's Historic Square, ART Station's beloved A Tour of Southern Ghosts is doing something new: this year, the ghosts are taking the stage.
For the 41st annual production, six of Atlanta's premier master storytellers will spin spooky tales of Southern ghosts in a magically created setting at the ART Station Theatre (5384 Manor Dr, Stone Mountain). The stories come from all over the South — a little spooky, often funny, sometimes heart-wrenching, but never too frightening. It's the perfect family outing for those who believe, those who don't, and those who just want a good time. (Note: this is not a haunted house.)
When: October 15–17 and October 22–24 (Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays), with two performances each evening at 7:00 PM and 8:30 PM.
Tickets: $10–$19. Use promo code TOSG for a discount when you purchase online at ARTStation.org. Reservations are highly recommended — call the box office at (770) 469-1105.
ART Station is a nonprofit contemporary arts center in Historic Stone Mountain Village, and A Tour of Southern Ghosts has been an Atlanta family tradition for four decades. Don't miss the new on-stage chapter.
